I thought Pat inferred some time ago that he wouldn't sign players who demanded a get out clause? Probably around the time of Luatua or C. Piatau?
That might bee a desire but the reality from his paymasters and from some really key targets might not support that.

For comparison.. this was our team vs quins for the first game. Safe to say the squad as a whole looks a lot stronger this time round.
Bristol: Wallace; Edwards, Hurrell, Henson, Varndell; Pisi, Cliff; Tonga'uiha, McMillan, Cortes, Phillips, Glynn, Fisher, Lam (capt), Crane.
Replacements: Brooker, Traynor, Perenise, Joyce, Robinson, Eadie, Williams, Mosses

Think maybe Scottish or Richmond. Ealing are all full time I think.

Scottish would be my bet.
Fair play to him: he’ll do well there.
Best of luck and thanks!!

I think Pats assertions that there will be no get out clauses will be the case, however, there may have been players who would only sign if we got promoted. Two different things by my reckoning.
Hopefully some real quality in the 2nd row, scrum half and 10/12 coming.

8 as well for me. If we could get a real monster carrier there.

Rugby inside line reckon we've signed Harry Randall from Gloucester.

Looks like my shout for JL isn't going to happen - Josh L is not planning on making a comeback at this time!

Randall added, that will be it for 9’s hope Stirzaker doesn’t get injured early on to leave us a bit exposed in experience!
Looks like a good un to bring through for the future though.

No surprises really. Would have liked Gaston and Jason H-W to have hung around, but hey-ho.
