Top effort lads.

Liking the discussion on the centres.

Your opinions on whether Addison (12) & James (13) should line up the other way round, in defence and maybe even in attack? Or whether it simply looks better with Jennings or Leota thrown into the mix?
I thought the attack gave addison free rein, but set Jame sup very little for any of his nice offloading game.

Good to compliment Ioane, but thoughts on Ross and how/whether they complement each other?

leota defends better than any of the others Jennings included - but Leota can't pass so the wings get hypothermia.

Imho Ioane is a great impact sub but not an 8.

Enjoy the podcasts but what is with all the background noise of chatting, bins, spray etc.
Top fans broadcast though.

That's just not true Mrs T. Leota has good hands and had always had a good ability to be able to straighten and draw a man. He would have drawn the man and passed to Solomona for the chance Addison butchered for example.

I think he lacks the creativity and vision to see space in heavy traffic, rather than any issues with the actual passing itself

He may have tried to pass to Solomona - where the ball would have ended up is anyone's guess.

In the hands of Solomona because he's actually good at it. That would be my guess. He's not the most creative player for sure but he does pass and is good at drawing a man when required which other centres can learn from. He's shown that from the moment he joined so I don't why that isn't acknowledged

Great Pod, listened this morning. Good that Solomona's defence was rightly mentioned as a positive.

Leota and Sammy T got a reputation as the bosh brothers, which probably explains it. I agree Clutch he has always shown that he has the ability to play with soft hands along with the bosh. He hasn't always shown the inclination to use his hands though. The one bad deed tends to overshadow the 100 good ones.

True but that was more due to his role in the team as much as anything else rather than the sweeping generalisation that he wasn't capable. Tuitupu on the hand can't pass.

Enjoyed it immensely again.

Some slightly misused stats I felt. We may have 'won' 6/6 mauls, but to what effect. Our mauling was poor.

The quiz was fun. Andy T escaped me on the last question.

Another week, another podcast. This time one that fits comfortably under an hour.

This week we:
- Discuss Sale's thumping 36-7 win over London Irish
- Preview Saturday's trip to Allianz Park to face Saracens
- Rejoice over Wasps' defeat to Harlequins
- Ponder whether Premiership Rugby's foray into the USA can continue
- Speculate over James O'Connor's fitness
- And Lewis reveals who has overtaken Faf de Klerk as his new favourite Sale Shark

Please remember to share and review the podcast - it really does help!

Good as ever. One minor point. For the second time in a row I can hear you hammering away at your keyboard sometimes which can be distracting when someone is making a point.
