There's nothing wrong with being optimistic, but I think you're a bit optimistic there, M5. The gate should be close to 10,000 considering the opposition, but there are all sorts of buts - the main one being that too many people have fallen out of love for watching. I'm going to say 4,800 in the hope that I am being too pessimistic.

4,800

4,637 but that will include my 5yr old plus any other kids with STs who probably won't be attending.

Thankfully it doesn't look like it will be freezing tonight (4-6 deg C).

Well done M5 - only too optimistic by four!

Yes, I've just seen that. Brilliant call M5. You see if our gang of four hadn't made that executive decision you would have been spot on. I think what the last two games do prove is that Premiership games have much more of a pull that do Anglo-Welsh games.

And typically I'm not that optimistic!!!! There seemed a fair amount of Sarries supporters which bolstered numbers but still surprised that was our 2nd highest attendance of the season (* hangs over the Bath Christmas figure).

Presumably corps was over flowing? Queue at the ticket office didn't seem particularly busy
