Our team for the next few years

For once it starting to look good to be a Sale fan. As has been noted by many in the press things are promising at the AJ Bell on the pitch.
Firstly, we’ve locked down the likes of MacGinty, Solomona, Sam James, McGuigan on long term deals. We’ve also got the likes of Yarde, RJVR, Faf, JOC with at least two years left to go (if not bought out...) and Ashton who the shark tank seem to think has signed for three years too. Lastly, we’ve got highly rated academy guys such as Redpath, Luke James and Wilkinson coming through. That isn’t even mentioning the depth options such as Jennings and Leota. As it is I really can’t see us getting anyone for the back line next season unless something drastic happens; such a strong a position I don’t think we’ve ever been in!

The forwards is different but somewhat similar with the likes of the Currys with four more years to go, Harrison, John, Jones, Nott and academy guys like Dolly (three others in the Redpath and Wilkinson batch too) also on long deals.

One, let’s hope we keep the ones we want unlike the past and two, that we get more of the right additions that we seem to have had in the backs now but in the forwards’ ranks.

We have an excellent spine of key players who seem to be committed to the club, recognise that Sale can help their ambitions and can lead us to better days than what we’ve seen in a decade.

The future’s bright the future’s blue!
