8 Sale players in the squad, that's 25% of the group. The future is safe in their hands!

However just read it again and it's not 25% but 8/45 still a great number in the squad.

It's easy to forget how young Luke James is when he is regular first team player and performing to the manor born.

There are two Kpoku's at Saracens. They are both included

Great news for all involved,

There's a whole lot of senior rugby experience in that side, not just from Sale.

Crazy to think L.James is u20s!

Great but also worrying in many respects. I wonder how many will still be playing by the time they're 25.

It would be nice to see some more young forwards making it into the England U20 reckoning, but the back division looks extremely healthy.

When was the last time, if ever, we could say we had the most players of any club in the U20s group? Not even just the most we have at least double of all the clubs (bar Exeter who have 5). Fantastic testomony to the efforts put into the Academy, its not just the U20 either we have had strong representative at U18 and U16 also.

Well done to all involved.

For those of who have been following Sale for some time we all know since the glory of 2006 itís all been a bit of a struggle.

One absolute pleasure I certainly get is seeing the likes of the Curryís, James, Ross H, Tommy T, Gaskell, Neild, Jennings etc etc etc getting early exposure to the premiership and their adaptation to it is brilliant. Reed the latest cab of the rank last Saturday.

We look to have an excellent academy manager in Briggs and Iím sure many others in the background.

Well done to all at Sale

If Redpath comes back in Dec, would that not be some sort of miracle recovery. I thought he was due to be out for most of the season?

This is just as good a piece of news as the squad selections.

Did he have an op in May/June? That would make it 6/7 months, so fairly quick but not quite into miracle territory

From U18 - U20 we have 15+ internationals in our set up with more coming through at U16 level. Thats massive.
