Team: 15.Chris Ashton; 14.Denny Solomona, 13. Sam James, 12.James OíConnor, 11. Arron Reed; 10.Kieran Wilkinson, 9.Faf de Klerk; 1.Ross Harrison, 2.Rob Webber, 3.WillGriff John, 4.Bryn Evans, 5.James Phillips, 6.Jono Ross (capt.), 7.Tom Curry, 8.Josh Strauss.

Replacements: 16.Curtis Langdon, 17.Tom Bristow, 18. Joe Jones, 19.Andrei Ostrikov, 20.Ben Curry, 21.Will Cliff, 22.Luke James, 23.Cameron Redpath

Stronger than I was expecting (I would've expected the bench guys to start and vice versa), we're obviously really targeting this.

Connacht don't seem to be really targeting this match - seemingly more interested in qualifying for the Champions Cup next year - or maybe guessed that Sale would rotate more. They definitely haven't thrown in the towel but (ignoring injuries) seem to have rotated out a star centre (Tom Farrell), #9 (Blade), second row Thornbury and some back row talent.

You would assume not. Interesting that Wilkinson is starting at 10 after us being told James would play there. The right call but odd communication!

It says Beaumont is injured, as is Byron. Sad not to see either AJ or RJVR on the bench but a run out for Redpath is interesting, especially in the back 23 shirt, seemingly jumping ahead of Paolo.

Maybe that was filmed before he had seen the highlights of Sale FCs game from the weekend, if anyone hasnīt seen it go check it out [www.salefc.com] absolutely lightning break for his try. Such an exciting player ball in hand.

The speed he took that line apart, I almost missed it. Would take that over a 60m break personally.

Looking forward to seeing how he goes tomorrow.

It might be a short break but it shows serious acceleration

Decent highlights for sale fc are a great idea, I really must get down to a game soon

Although not the weakest Connacht team I hope we can put the game away early and bring some players, particularly the front row and Faf off to get some rest; as well as to get match demand in to the bench.
