Yorkshire Carnegie return to Emerald Headingley on Sunday to face promotion chasing London Irish and Director of Rugby Chris Stirling has named his side.
Skipper Richard Mayhew returns having been ruled out in the warm up in last Friday’s incredible win at Bedford Blues. Antonio Kiri Kiri retains his place in the starting line up, having been drafted in to replace Mayhew at Goldington Road.
George Watkins has recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him last week and he replaces Myles Thoroughgood.
There is a rotation in the front row with Nic Mayhew and Sam Nixon coming in for Craig Mitchell and Marc Thomas whilst Fa’atiga Lemalu is back in the second row having been a late withdrawal a week ago.
Josh Bainbridge and Lewis Wilson are amongst the replacements this week where there is also a return for Tom Hill.

Really looking forward to this despite the dark clouds threatening to engulf the club.

Its all about character this one, and the lads showed plenty of that playing up the slope at Bedford last week.

When the chips are down and everything's @#$%& - you do it for the bloke next to you. Come on lads.

Good post Leeming I think the same - this might be the best squad we have for several years to come, they have nowt to lose and might just turn some heads!
