Our biggest extended family attendance of 7 on Friday...

Do not let us down...

What is the Friday night attendance (or rather tickets sold) record? Anything less than 23k and I think we might break it. Season records prior to 2014 have been removed from the Offy so I can't check.

South Africa game was a Friday and a sell out at old capacity so 24k.

We've had so few Friday's since the 25,849 capacity that I reckon anything over 24k would be a good shout at a record.

For the cynics among us tickets sold of more than 23,940 would set another new record for season's "attendances".

Of course - forgot about the Saffa game. Even so it could be a record for a weekday evening competitive club fixture within the British Isles - some reason all the “clubs” with bigger stadia Munster, Leinster (Aviva) and Franchise don’t play any big games on a Friday night...

Didn't realise Ireland was now in the "British Isles"?

(Sm159)

Is this a new Brexit thing?

And a good job you had your " around clubs. Talk about stretching a definition ..... (Sm14)

Yes, and as far as I’m aware, making that reference is not Inflammable Material to people of the republic or the nationalist community in the Alternative Ulster. Referring to the largest of the British Isles as the “Mainland” - well that is a different matter...

Do they also take offence when people refer to the European mainland?

The Government in Ireland do not recognise or acknowledge the term "British Isles".

Confirmed on Offy - record crowd for a Friday night League game...
