What a mess this all sounds like.

I think they would be interesting choices I guess, not like we can be picky currently.

BUT these two were the ones rumoured earlier one was apparently the BOD choice (Betts) the other MOC choice (Davis) so if Davis is still being interviewed by the club why not just sign him in the off season? Unless the reports was wrong and MOC wanted to do it all himself (Believable).

The biggest worry is
" It is thought that Cohen has sounded out several players individually this week and they have asked the club hierarchy to delay any appointment until after the weekend, with a view to a delegation from the squad seeking further talks with leading officials about the recruitment plans."

Nice to know we have so many players who are great coaches currently, maybe they should focus less on coaching and more on playing.

Also maybe we need a DOR/CEO who can put some players back in their place?

This is a dreadful example of what is wrong with the way our club is run. It adds weiught to criticisms made by Richard Cockerill and many supporters.

...it really is a shame that this 'faction of senior players' (not the first time we have heard that..) began to play like 'senior players'.

Absolutely shambolic. Old school , Hard line approach needed and if our (senior) players don't like it , or don't want it then they best F*** Off somewhere else

So I and others are right then, too much player power. Murphy should be picking who HE wants to work with THEN notifying the players! But like I said until we completely get rid of the Tigers way this will continue to happen ,we will not get off this merry go round until we do! And players stitching Murphy up? Just wow!

Quote "In the aftermath of Saturday’s shattering 41-10 defeat at Bristol came a realisation that the Tigers management team needs to be reinforced."

Realisation!!! ffs Haven't they been reading this board for the last year or more!

Totally agree with Blueamada once the senior players start performing on the pitch and showing leadership then maybe they can be consulted with in the meantime shut the f*** up!

Everybody should be 100% behind Geordan.
As Cockers said earlier in the week change does not necessarily mean improvements and some of the board have to be in the last chance saloon.

Feel for Brett trying to implement a defensive system during the season with limited training time due to injuries and internationals being away.

If Geordan and Brett feel they need help then appoint consultants.

I feel for Brett too in a way but he's clearly not good enough. A good defence coach could/will implement a simple strategy that should be brought into immediately. Defence these days is an art but we are failing on the basics, get one in and quick! If not Ford then Betts,RL defence always transfers well to union.

Well if you can arrange an effective defence with just 13 men, 15 should be a doddle.

Didn't know that we had a defence coach. This opinion is based on our passive defending, half hearted tackling and slow repositioning of the 'defensive line'.

If we don't get back to basics we could soon be nicknamed the Leicester Puddy Tat's.

Why is it the blindingly obvious problems and solutions can be seen , predicted and annunciated by many observers , yet those entrusted and paid to do this seem clueless, reactive and utterly lacking in any form of objective analysis.IMHO simple, the club is guilty of the worst kind of group think, selfish personal protectionism and utterly no care for the collective good. The current ethos at the Tigers is utterly bereft of its roots and culture. It is broke and it needs a complete overhaul asap[.
