I read somewhere that Leceister will be signing Damien Mackenzie wondered if there is any truth in this.

It's in the Rugby Paper I believe, so who knows. Amazing signing for them, if true.

I think it's a strange signing.

Don't know why Tigers aren't focusing on the forwards.

There are much more pressing matters than signing another 10.

Good signing for them if true. Isn't he a 15 rather than a 10?

Don't disagree with beshocked re the forwards. Maybe O'Connor has a plan!

Alan,

You are not supposed to leak David Davis' negotiating plan!

given the post election waffle I think the Ulster Unionists should be leading the Brexit negotiations. Their ability to drive a hard bargain is what we need on the team

I just saw that Tiggers are swapping May for Slater

more backs, less forwards - I'm not sure their strategy is sound

Supposedly, we were interested in him too, although I'm not sure if there's any truth in it. Personally, can't see where he would fit in. I'd much rather see Earle be given more game time.

May? Is Theresa looking for a new job already?

After all their injury problems Leicester wanted a strong and stable winger...

Theresa May does not know how to wing it.

But she does know how to move very fast across the pitch without making any real progress.

More importantly she can get other people to take the hits for her - perhaps she should consider American football over rugby?

To be fair that used to be Johnny May's problem. He has improved a lot and runs a lot more directly.

For what it's worth I would have had him at Sarries in the blink of an eye although agree another winger isn't a priority.

currently the squad looks very good - we do need perhaps only a Tight head

however the two players we have available are not going to have representative call-ups so only need injury cover. I suspect the club have a couple of injury covers in mind but won't pull them in unless needed
