Wasting no time getting the new boys on the bench then - hope we get to see them on the pitch at some point during the game !

After two weeks at full tilt Wuss have put the kids out by the looks of things. Our pack isnít far off what will start next weekend. A lot of teams have gone with very strong sides this week, perhaps they thinkingí is that 3 weeks off is too many

Another 6/2 bench at home.

Forwards similar to next week v Sale?
15 Gallagher Goode, 14 Crossdale Gallagher, 13 Bosch Tompkins, 12 Morris Barritt, 11 Lewington, 10. Malins Lozowski, 9 Whiteley Spencer;
1 Barrington, 2 Tolofua, 3 Judge, 4 Day. 5 Skelton, 6 Clark, 7 Burger, 8 Earl Wray;
16 Woolstencroft, 17 Adams-Hale Thompson-Stringer, 18 Sasagi, 19 van Zyl Kpoku, 20 Kpoku Earl; 21 Rhodes Taylor, 22 Taylor Malins, 23 Tompkins Bosch.

Assumes we get Loz back, Rhodes and Wiggy play v Canada. If Loz kept by Jones, Whiteley shunts Malins to 10?

Be good to welcome back Luke Baldwin with Worcester.

Looks a good team. Really like Malins but he needs a big game after a couple of pretty mixed games. Looking forward to seeing Sarries new props.

A stronger squad than I expected.

Well unfortunately that didn't happen. Another stinker I'm afraid; loose passes and kicking from hand and off the tee were just poor. Ultimate indignity was Whiteley taking over kicking duties at half time.

A bit of a ho-hum match all round really. The five tries were good but conceding four was bad news. Because of the TBP Wuss now top the table (on 11 points each) with a points difference of +39 against our +20. All seems so unnecessary given the big lead we had. Game management was poor and a lot of that was down to Malins.

In the final Derby Day round we are away to Quins who are all bar a miracle out already and Wuss are at home to Wasps who are already mathematically out. That leaves us in a position where we are well placed to have a shot at the fourth semi-final place as the top pool runner-up.

I think describing that as ho-hum is generous. I thought it was pretty dreadful.
Burger the best player on the field by a country mile & the less said about the decision making of most of our backs today the better. Defence was also very poor at times.
Long delay for possible serious injury to Andrew Kitchener of Wuss - best wishes to him for his recovery.

I thought Will Skelton had a good game.

But our handling - oh dear, oh dear

Just makes you appreciate the huge gap between the first XV and the rest. Burger and Skelton carried the kids this afternoon which resulted in burger being knackered and conceding the bonus try
Malins confidence is shot
Itíll be just like Eddie to play Loz and Rhodes next week (and rest the others) so Sale could have a field day.Goodey Barritt et al really have to step up
Still unbeaten though ...........

Mallins needs a bit of TLC - he hasn't suddenly become a bad player - he is just having a bad patch - he's pretty handy around the pitch but as you say I think he is lacking confidence - Owen needs to taker him under his wing on his return .

I thought our substitutions were made too early
Another ten mins of Big Will marauding through Warriors defensive lines might have killed their spirit?!
Even with 34 seconds left we were kicking ball away instead of running clock down.....v strange

Was there any word on why Chris Van Zyl pulled out of the 23? Next week is one of the critical games we would have wanted him available for.

Loz's ban has finished as of today so I wouldn't be surprised if he's selected for the Japan game next week, possibly even Mike Rhodes as well.

Good to see twins on the pitch together, though it was hard to tell who was doing what!

Yes, I thought the old hands had to do more than they thought their contracts stipulated.

Too much basketball, not enough thought for the basics. Conceding one or two more tries than we should have done cost us not just through the bonus point but also points difference. It wasn't necessary.

The conditions weren't great and the kicks were difficult, but the conversion rate was very poor.
