Exciting news from Nigel. Also some stuff about co-investment partnerships... ;-)
But the West Stand! As an 'edge of the East Stand' season ticket holder I will be *very* interested to see the pricing structure for those seats.

From what I understand the lower west stand will not change as the gap will form a buffer

Wonder if the Daily Fail will publish that in the interest of balanced reporting

Also wonder if Doyle will give this as much coverage on BT sport as he did the SC allegations, until Austin Healey shut him down.Great response from Nigel and i was particularly impressed with how they're looking after Joel Conlon.

Lower West is definitely going but there are rumours it may be that the new stand will be built around it for as long as possible! And I'm pretty sure the prices will be going up! It would just be nice to know what the plans are.

it was interesting reading the Guardian about the shared companies - there was an inference this is Salary cap money ; or rather rugby club CVC money being diverted to player salary
What seems to be happening here is actually its not; its predominently player money, plus money from their mates or Nigel himself - with lots of free advice from interested / friendly parties
2 things I took from it -
1) its not CVC money by the back door although if you want to believe its a scam then any amonut of evidence is not gonig to convince you.
2) that once tapped into it, its highly unlikely that player will leave Saracens since its probably likely your fledgling empire probably won't keep working at your new club, since the support system making it a winner will disappear

J'OG: On point 2) I noted that as well, and similar was mentioned by EggChasers. It reminded me a bit in effect of the Irish 'tax back' system that incentivized people to stay there.

Ah well, that's a pleasant surprise - no price increase on STs! Now just need to find out where my new, covered stand will be located

Yes, Austin slapped Doyle down, but Doyle still wanted some 'afters'

Good post from Mr Wray and exciting developments re the East Stand. Probably just me but the most interesting thing was discovering that the caravan I get my delicious Chocolate sponge and custard before the match belongs to Ma Sanderson!

I remember Alex saying that he had promised some of the players a particular favourite pudding if they did something well... they did... he said his mum wouldn't be happy!!!
