I see from today's WDP a report that Bananaman has suffered a serious slashed wrist, which has required several stitches. The injury apparently involved a dishwasher and a sharp knife. It could affect his return in preseason. Was this a freak accident or, the thought of another season with Bath?(Sm105)

Just goes to prove what I have always believed, dangerous jobs like loading and unloading the dishwasher are best left to the female of the species.

Speaking of pre-season, how is Fearns getting on at Gloucester? Bet he can't wait for the season to start...

Like every male drama I bet it was only a scratch which became a mega disaster by the time the story was told the third time!

Fearns BM53 - Lyons made him a better offer to stay. (that was after he signed for Gloucester of course)

"Fearns BM53 - Lyons made him a better offer to stay. (that was after he signed for Gloucester of course)" I assume that means he is still playing in France then?

22D, correct, so we saved on his wages and got substantial compensation.

Sorry Jonnyf I was being playful... I'm not sure that 'saving on wages' is that positive (if so hire a load of cheap people) but not having a player who was never committed is your real bonus, like us with Genia.

Perfect, unless you wanted a new back rower to actually play rugby for you...
