“Ulster have signed Ireland-qualified fly-half Billy Burns from Premiership side Gloucester.”

Guess there weren’t going to be many opportunities behind Danny Cipriani and Owen Williams. Burns is apparently Irish qualified, so sounds like a good move for him.

Yes he wants to break into the Ireland side...would be good going I think.

Good move for him - they need a good 10 given the loss of Paddy Jackson. His only real rival for the 10 shirt is Johnny McPhillips who is a useful player so there will be opportunities for them both.

Hell of a backline he gets to play in with Luke Marshall, McCloskey, Gilroy, Ludik and that fella Stockdale also in there. They have a decent pack too so seems a good move for the young guy. I hope it works out for him! Just a shame we won't get to see more of the Burns vs Burns in a West Country rivalry!!

Adopted players:
2018-19 Jonathan Joseph
2017-18 Shaun Knight

They have Cips and Owen Williams with 36 to cover - they will be fine.
