Agreed, he looks much more like a wide player than a fly half from what I’ve seen.

The England lineout isn’t functioning well at all.

Much to work on, have to say Australia with 14 men for 78mins only go down 8 tries to 5.

NZ replacement luckiest boy in the world only getting a yellow for a clear shoulder straight to the head of the welsh kid. Red all day long IMO.

Agree Matt totally unexplainable that one, "mitigation for ducking down" I really don't think so.

Mega close game with Wales winning by 8-7, is the myth going?

The two semi finals were an interesting watch. Depite the fact that Australia were a man down for half the game they won, basically because their back row floored Argentina whenever they got close, then kept breaking away in the loose to steal points. Backs look good too.

In the other game it was a slugfest against two heavyweights JJ looked good, not ours but France's, Jordan Joseph, massive guy who can play a bit. They have a great kicker, Carbonel who kicked his points to put them through.

So Australia v France final, its going down under in my view as long as the Ozzies end the game with 15.

In closing in both semis they ran nearly all ball, hardly any kicking for territory!

Side note: England beat Ireland so they play Wales for the 5th place pay of on the 22nd.

Australia vs France - the two basket cases of tier one international rugby union! Kind of brilliant in a way.

Well France have always had the young talent, it’s just that most of it gets swallowed up in their league system - not too many of those talented young men really break through into stars at international level. They would rather spend £15+ million on semi-retired all Blacks instead.

And Australia's ability to eke out sporting achievement from minuscule player base and zero cash remains unmatched.

You have to say that the current Ozzy senior back row is outstanding, they look to have just as good in the U20's, so I agree with that view.
