No Pennell, Heem at centre, Shillcock at FB. Interesting.

No Marco too. Would not expect BT to be in the mix yet.

Particularly interested to see how Heem gets on at 13. If Millsy permanently moves to 10 I could see a 12/13 combination of Te'o and Heem which could potentially be lethal especially with guys like Adams,Howe,Humphreys,Hammond,Pennell and seemingly Shillcock vying for a back 3 position
That midfield would be nothing but sheer pace and power with both Te'o and Heem able to break tackles and offload...I'm getting excited at that! Adams and Howe have ridiculous pace and Humphreys too...I couldn't even pick a back 3 at this moment in time as it's so strong.

Can't play everyone i guess, but this is blydi close.
Presume Max is still broken following Singha Sevens. G Milisanovich? CP not mentioned, as per above. Humphreys?
Think T'eo was granted a few more weeks. I'll sure he'd like a go at Munster in a couple of weeks.
Not too sure what we will glean from the first 2 games, but GG obviously has a plan.
Warriors team for first-half:
15 Ben Howard
14 Alex Hearle
13 Wynand Olivier
12 Jackson Willison
11 Josh Adams
10 Tom Heathcote
9 Luke Baldwin
1 Ryan Bower
2 Jack Singleton
3 Nick Schonert
4 Darren Barry
5 Pierce Phillips
6 David Denton
7 Sam Lewis
8 GJ van Velze (C)
Warriors team for second-half:
15 Jamie Shillcock
14 Tom Howe
13 Bryce Heem
12 Will Butler
11 Dean Hammond
10 Sam Olver
9 Jonny Arr
1 Ethan Waller
2 Matti Williams
3 Simon Kerrod
4 Donncha O'Callaghan (C)
5 Will Spencer
6 Huw Taylor
7 Dewald Potgieter
8 Matt Cox
Replacements:
Justin Clegg
Tom Dodd
Biyi Alo
Andrew Kitchener
Peter Stringer
Christian Scotland-Williamson
Joe Taufete'e

Probably not being used. Everyone needs a game to show what they can do. There's a lot of players that needs having a look at

Good question! I don't know? Looking at it I'd probably say yes I guess they are. Still a few other lads not in there with Humphreys and Milasinovich too.
Looking at the line ups is much prefer GJ at 6 than 8. I think Denton would make more metres from his carries than GJ. This years team is going to be really hard to pick, especially in the backs and the back row.
I still think we need that 10 and a bit more quality maybe at loosehead. Other than that I think it looks pretty good. I'm backing Tom Howe to make an impact this season and be the surprise package...he's absolutely lightening quick the same as Adams

By a process of elimination, the Ticket Office have put out tweets regarding Park&Ride for the Munster game and nothing else, so I would guess not.. They say that the NPower carpark is open for park&walk

Hammond for Heem at 13 would be my preference

What surprises me, is that with all the cut backs we've got enough shirts! Or will the second half be in the away strip?

AJ my thoughts exactly.
Howe, Heem, T'eo, Adams and Shillcock, sound like an amazing back 5. The counter attack potential from them is massive.
The players missing I feel sure will play against Moseley. The team selection against Munster will tell us a lot.

I agree JP. I think this game is more about seeing what the new lads can do and settle them in to our playing style early doors.
As for the back 3 there are now so many combinations that we won't be significantly weakened if someone gets injured. We have great depth there now with line breakers with frightening speed...the best thing is that they're all relatively unknown players so teams won't know too much about them.
