Although described as a utility back Harry is listed as a fly half on the Leeds website. He must be highly rated by Chris Stirling to get a 3yr contract. Chris Stirling has replied to criticism of him in his part of the financial situation at Leeds. He has made the following comment about the future of the Leeds squad " I'm sure I will be judged for taking YC players with me to the pirates but they wish to follow, as stated there are limited opportunities at this late stage and if Pirates can provide them with a future then the decision is theirs".
Could this be the start of further signings from Leeds?

Just look after them, 2 very special talents you have, doubt they will be the last

RE the comment from CS he has gone onto MB several times and has offered to meet supporters in the local if they wanted to discuss anything, also held 2 open days the Friday before a game to give an insight as to what goes on behind the scenes,

No reason he wont do the same with you guys, Gutted hes gone but chuffed he has found somewhere to match his ambition, note the point he made "players want to come" the way he operates there is a very good reason for that

look after him as well

very lucky to have him

Opuscoitus,
You may not be aware but Chris was previously with the Pirates between 2009-12 when he was our high performance director. In his 3 year tenure we won the first B&I cup and appeared in 2 championship play off finals.
He will be joining our 2 young talented coaches Gavin Cattle and Alan Paver and hopefully they will move the club forward over the next 3 years with similar success.

Very aware, just letting you know what he has done to connect with the small but hardy band of fans in his time at YC, I’m sure he will continue his good work he did in his previous tenure

Geof DC, thanks for doing that, I tried but all I kept getting was something like "This URL link does not recognise this web address, please use http not https". Did you do anything other than pasting the web address into the address bar you get when you choose the insert url option? All clues gratefully received!!

Hi Longrock

If you click edit on your first post it shows you used the image linking function not the add URL/Hyperlink function

AS highlighted: [img]https://www.yorkshirecarnegie.com etc

An image address usually ends in: .jpg or .gif
