It's actually called the Zoo Sports Shield Mick.
There are several divisions and conferences, so it's easier to check this link than try to list them. http://www.englandrugby.com/fixtures-and-results/competitions/the-zoo-sports-shield/2015-2016/#/results

Thanks for that Kimbo as long as the development team is playing regular I don't care if it's called the Donald duck League as long as cov benefits in the long-term

Neither do I Mick. It just makes it easier to find the info you want if you search for something other than the Donald Duck League

That is some additional cost for travel... Jersey for one.

It's a merit league, so I would imagine there's some flexibility, but obviously it's best to play all opposition at least once. As it's not an RFU league (as such) I wonder if travel to Jersey could be combined with the 1st XV friendly? (Might be some saving in that).
Likewise, six of the potential trips could combine with NL1 matchdays.
Just thinking aloud.

Rowland is in the process of sorting it all out, but it will be at least a couple of weeks before anything is likely to be resolved. Certainly, the idea of playing back-to-back games, home and away, against the NL1 clubs is being discussed - bigger coach, cut down on costs. Need to know the NL1 fixtures first - usually early June, I believe.

Is the development squad also being managed by Rowland etc or perhaps another of the new coaches?

The name Coventry Developement squad leaves much to be desired. May I suggest a fans competition for alternative, followed by a vote for the most popular suggestion, providing the club is in agreement.
