With two Northern teams relegated out of our division there is a Inbalence in the leagues below. Where will Street be playing North or South

It doesn't seem to have been finalised yet - although I have seen a lot of discussion (mainly from a Blaydon supporter) on Rolling Maul complaining that the distribution is unfair.

The calculation is apparently not a simple case of which clubs are furthest north and south, but is based upon the total distance to be travelled. It sounds as if Luctonians (Currenty NL2N 12th place and based in Leominster) although in NL2N and based well to the south of Broadstreet, will remain in NL2N, and Broadstreet will be placed in NL2S.

The reason this is causing dispute is that although the total mileage this way around has the lowest net mileage, it will actually cost the RFU more in transport subsidies, as Luctonians go over the point at which they are entitled to overnight travel subsidies on several occasions (including Blaydon)and Broadstreet do not.

Still, rules are rules.
