Big hand to all the traveling support in very Arctic conditions.
Neither side warmed the atmosphere,
Lino missed a blatent foot in touch for their first try, but hey ho, cant criticize .... His eyes must of ben frozen .
Wishing Santa brings better away days results even before the big day...
Nottingham would be a very pleasant scalp to take, especially for forum followers
Merry xmas Mighy CRFC and followers

I didn't expect us to win anyway. But we kept it fairly tight. I have been told we dominated 2nd half just failed to score.

Not sure how quarter finals are decided? Is it a draw? If so it will probably be Carnegie away lol!

We far from dominated, certainly never threatened more than once.
From whàt i gather we would play them on ranking but can't play someone from your own group so sounds like Jersey or Pirates away !

We spent almost all the second half after the early Tyke’s try, pressuring their line, but couldn’t get through and score. When my photos appear you’ll see quite how much time we spent there.
The rest of the half was spent on the building site half of the ground watching Coventry advNce, lise the ball, and have it booted back to their own 22.

Old Nick. Your always right. And i was there without a lense just good eyes as i was the only one to pick before a replay to see their first try had a foot in touch for no reason on the run in.... And have most of the supporters club to verify that

A win would have meant Pirates @ home; the loss means it London Irish away.

I certainly didn’t spot the foot in touch, as I was up at the end Coventry were meant to be attacking at that stage - and not watching the big screen.
In the first half I saw very little of the hams at my end. The second half was a very different matter.

No comment from anyone at the club regarding Saturday,. Hope they are coming up with a plan A, B and C to use in play if needs be to overcome Nottingham and finally banish the away day troubles

The club press officer was on holiday this weekend, and had other people covering essentials, including the match report.

It may well be that he is still on holiday, and if so I wouldn’t be surprised if all we saw this week were the essentials - squad selection and match report.
