Support for ex Albion Player Rhys Oakley

Hartpury captain Rhys Oakley went to hospital three weeks ago for an ankle operation – part and parcel of life as a rugby player . But what started out as a “routine clear-out” following another gruelling season in the long and distinguished career of the 37-year-old, ended up with something much more serious being discovered.
Rhys was a player and coach at Albion from 2013 – 2015 during the clubs promotion to the Championship. Eoghan Grace who played alongside Rhys at Albion tweeted:

We at the club are sending Rhys our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Hartpury captain and former Wales international Rhys Oakley is facing cancer battle.
