Having watched the Challenge Cup final tonight is there really any point in having a TMO or is it just the French officials that think them unnecessary?!
To be honest I would prefer to go back to the days of no TMO BUT if we have the technology use it!! Sigh......
Well played Cardiff by the way

What a great game of rugby. Cardiff with the 2nd half performance just about deserved it, the yellow card for Glaws did not help their cause.Glaws did not get the rub of the green with the officials. Did not get awarded a perfectly good try and Cardif got awarded a try they should not have got. Both deserved TMO, did Glaws ask for it? or are French referees not interested in using them. The stadium may have more spectators tonight but was half empty last night. With reports of rip off hotel prices and the difficult location to get to it was not surprising. Rugby authorities may wish to spread the word but to deny thousands of Glaws and Cardiff fans who have supported them all season the chance to see a great game is hardly fai.

The ref made an equal number of mistakes against both sides, the 2nd Glaws try was preceded by a knock on by the no.9, which was picked up by Ludlow in front of him.

For the amazing back-of-the-hand pass, the ref was directly in line with the play, the camera angles were not conclusive.

The Blues winger was exactly in line with Anscombe when the ball made contact with his boot, watch it back on slo-mo.

Ellis Jenkins was pinged for a turnover when he was on two feet, but being prevented from picking up the ball by Glaws forwards on the ground.

The only person making a fuss was Austin Healey who was struggling with a Pro 14 team giving an AP team a close match.

Excellent game, Glaws should have put it to bed when they were on top in the first half.

Excellent performance by Barnsie this afternoon, would live to see him down here next week.
