The crowd at Stebonheath was 212 which is par for the South Wales Ironmen in recent times, in fact better than many matches in the last few years BUT it highlights the problem the game has in both South and West Wales.

Hopefully it is a springboard to build on but often the first game at a new venue does generate some additional interest.

We shall see.

Interesting that the mass signing of West Wales Raiders players (for all the right reasons) has meant their 2017 first team results have been expunged....

What does that mean for people who secured points and tries in these matches, are they cancelled?

RL - never a dull moment.

I thought a 200+ attendance for a Saturday afternoon game, when a Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final was on the television at the same time, was a very promising start.

Attendances seem to have an impact on other clubs - as does supporter engagement.
