10 CAP BRITISH ARMY RUGBY UNION FORWARD JOINS THE RAIDERS FOR 2019

Craig Fillier is a former Wales Under 18’s Rugby League representative who played in the 2009 season. He then turned to Rugby Union during his time in the Armed Forces.

Craig has earned 10 Caps for the British Army and 2 Caps for the British Combined Services.

He has now decided that he wanted to return to Rugby League this year to play for the Raiders.

Head coach Kim Williams added “Craig will bring an outstanding level of professionalism and discipline to our club, he will be expected to be one of our leaders within the playing group. We look forward to see him at preseason which begins very soon.”

Could Rogero please change the heading to Fillier?

It seems he played in a few positions in the forwards, including hooker.

But,completely different sport.

I can't find his exact age but mid-20's seems about right.

Fitnesss and discipline shouldn't be a problem.

It appears to be a very good signing.

The more players who wish to play for the club, the better.

The squad already looks so much stronger than the season just finished.

Still room for more improvement.
