Not Alex Rae or Lee Dickson - they're important players but as coaches as well and at the tail-end of careers, not the ones to choose as Captain.

Ed Taylor seems to have become vice-captain this season, although I'm personally not sure he slots automatically into the first-team at present, which for me is a prerequisite for captaincy.

I'd go for Jarad Williams.

Ed Taylor would seem to be the natural successor. However, I think hes off to a proper job next season so it wouldnt be a good long term appointment. Not sure who else there is. Hooley always looks like a leader on the pitch but Im not a great fan of burdening fly halves with more responsibility. Perhaps Charlie Clare, based only on the fact hes been around the club before and has top flight experience. Geech appointed Johnson as Lions capt to intimidate the oppo from the coin toss onwards. Using that rationale, WCS has to be a contender. When we sign Foden hell be the obvious option!
