Polota-nau is always being linked with a northward move. Might make sense - you know...before he joins Bristol.

Boks are always swimming in good back rows who can't get an international look in.

Haha! That would be awesome. Were we linked with Jako Kriel over the summer too?

Jaco Kriel is broken long term. Polota-Nau is with the Wobblies at the moment, so wouldn’t be available until December I think.

I would bring in Quade Cooper at 10, get that back line firing again, perfect replacement for Cips.

it would be interesting to see Quade Cooper at Wasps - but not at hooker or back row.

I'd buy a ST to Wasps to watch Quade Cooper play at hooker smiling smiley

Realistically I doubt it will be anyone whose got Autumn internationals coming up. So presume it will most likely be either old timer needing cash quickly or a youngster to prove international/first team quality for next season.

Certainly don't look short on back rows when the Willis boys are coming through like that.

I don't want to reignite a debate about youth vs overseas cool heads - but if we are signing anyone I hope it's not going to stop the brothers from getting in the mix. Where we need something new - whether internal or external - is from 10 outward. Only man filling his shirt fully ATM is Bassett. Tough call on Daly and Miller to an extent. But we just look shapeless and incohesive from 10-15.

I agree, I don't think we need to bring in expensive 'talent'. Use our younger lads. We were playing Sarries today, the League leaders. What tougher game are these youngsters going to get? And Rowlands and the two Willis boys were Wasps through and through. Never say die, gave it their all. Proud is what I am to see them play.

What about Owain James, or Umaga or Eastgate. If not now, when? Robson and Bassett were the only two backs truly earning their money today, although Watson seems to be getting better. Time to look beyond the next games, and start building for next year. Anyone who thinks we can get top four now, it isn't happening unless we take the gamble and play these young lads. We have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

I think we may lose a few experienced players this year because the money on offer is not enough. So be it.

... and I really want to see a captain on the pitch who can make good tactical decisions and get in the ref's ear. Not one who plays his heart out like a Lion and maybe motivates his fellows by example. I want a calm, cool, individual who is clinical in leadership. We don't have such a player, except maybe Robson?
