I think nick Kennedy has some big calls to make as some of the so-called 'senior players' are not turning up at the moment and some of the bench players definitely deserve a run out.

I'd swap bell and Marshall round and would start Seb. Given its his first time playing against Tiggers he should be quite fired up for it.

Kidding yourself if you think Fowlie is a better 13 than Tiks. I know the masses jump on the bandwagon against Tiks, but Fowlie is not at that level yet.

Fowlie was impressive off the bench, tiks is a liability in defence at 13 as much as I like him. Fowlie deserves a start after yesterday

Trev (if fit)
Meehan
Marshall
Tiks
Tonks
Williams
Lewington
Bell

Smallbone
Fainga
Hoskins
Paulo
Mcnally
Steele
Fowlie
Ransom

Difficult to pick without knowing the extent of the injuries that we have, and whilst I do think some changes are needed to freshen up, we need to not go too far along those lines as we'll have no continuity. Presuming that Williams and Nalaga are not going to be available as they went off injured on Friday night I would go with...

Bell
Lewington
Fowlie
Tonks
Tikoroituma
Marshall
Meehan

Franks
Paice
Hoskins
Paulo
van der Merwe
Northcote-Green
Gilsenan
Treviranus

Fainga'a, Elrington, Chawatama, de Chaves, McNally, Schatz, Steele, Hearn

Was Williams injured. I assumed it was either easing him back in after a long time out, or tactical cos he'd missed a few tackles.

Pretty sure he went off with a knock.

We had to cancel the "A" league game due to injury problems, no idea what sort of team will turn up at yours, then a trip to France the week after, will we rest players? I hope not, after our poor start we need to win every game and we have been turned over by you guys recently, so we need our strongest side for this weekend.

The team that ended the game against newcastle should start against tigers. Every replacement was a marked impovement on those they replaced. Fowlie especially was impressive as was meehan.

Interesting comments and team selection from the Tigers board.

C'mon the boys in Green!!

Seems like most are expecting a win. Even a BP one.

Hardly surprising really given some of our recent scorelines but those who watched the Falcons game seem to understand that we can play well.

I hope for a win but I am worried that your results and in particular last 40 minutes will mean that we have to be 100% for the full 80 minutes and no complacency.

Matt o’Connor Seems to be saying it is not a foregone conclusion in the local paper, he is right
