Would be a decent signing which would add to the squad.

Sounds a good prospect. Another Saint. Stocking up in the centers I presume.
I'd rather be a Paddy than a Quin!!
C'mon the boys in Green!!

He’s a winger isn’t he
Center/winger.
Link above says can play both.

A very talented winger at that. I seem to recall him scoring some cracking tries.

I recall a match at FG a couple of years back when he nailed us, scoring 2 or 3

Looks extremely quick, sort of in the Ransom mould

Has he been injured or just way down the pecking order at Saints? After a good start to his career he's not played a game for them since he did his shoulder 18 months ago.
Assume he's played some A league?
Edit - Injured this season, I mean

Don’t think he has played in the centre for some time

Very good player who always used to score lots against us. I'd be very happy to have him

Another proven Prem quality player which can only be good to have on the books.
In fairness to K&K with the rumours of Mercer, Elliot & signing Stephenson/Myler they are building a squad capable of going up and staying up.

I remember Elliot begin very impressive about 2-3 years ago. really nailed down his spot on the wing for Saints and scored some very tidy tries... but i completely forgot about him until this came up.
could be a very good signing... very understated but very effective

Ransom > Elliott
was throughout the age groups and nothing to suggest much has changed on that front. Hope he gets more time - has always played well when called upon, but not given opportunities
Not a fan of the Elliott signing myself as I feel there are other positions that require more attention and don't think he's much of an upgrade on what is already present.

From the 2018/19 thread
Wing
Nalaga
Ransom
Ojo
Loader
Hassell-Collins
We might be a little light out wide, depending if Loader and OHC are able to step up or not. If they are, then 5 wings plus the likes of Fowlie and Parton able to cover should see us through at least this season. Are they good enough for the GP? Nalaga and Ransom I would say yes, Ojo I would be hesitant about as he'll be 34 should we return at the first time of asking (although he seems to have gotten quicker with age),the academy boys we just don't know. I can see the logic to this, but still hoping we've kept money in the bank to find a grizzly 8

They are probably being cautious about signings like a big 8. With World Cup year next year I’d imagine they’re holding back some cash to go in with a decent offer on a prem quality 8. It’s risky but no point wasting dosh on a multi year deal for an average player in a key position.

Agreed no need to sign too many now - we need enough of a squad to comfortably gain promotion but don't want to be signing guys who can't contribute in the premiership. Would expect a lot of southern hemisphere internationals may end their international careers after the World Cup and be up for grabs. I'm guessing we'll be sniffing around premiership academies offering better game time prospects to people.

Elliot's agreed a move away from Bedford to an unknown destination
Injury cover for us with a few backs struggling at the moment?
