Cash Converters cease sponsorship

Found this buried in Twitter - first sponsor to walk away because of Paddy Jackson signing.

Looks legit as it has removed Irish from list of sponsors on Twitter handle only mentions Motherwell and Saints.

In isolation, I doubt it's a huge issue. Sponsors come and go pretty regularly and I don't think we get a huge amount of money from any of them individually given Crossan's company have the prime real estate on the shirt.

A company offering pawnbroking services and payday loans to desperate people at 1281% APR, should probably be thinking of the glass houses they inhabit.

That said there's obviously a concern here that the signing impacts our future commercial income next season more than they would have factored in when making the signing.

I'm pretty happy about that, scummy company that we should have never been associated with in the first place.

Paddy Jackson may have potentially done a bad thing to one woman, whereas CC have caused far more misery to far more people.

Cash Converters trying to claim a moral high ground?! Bit like Trump suddenly discovering he's a feminist.

Agreed! Looks like it was a deal that Brian Facer brought to the table as he had done at Saints as well

Apparently we only owe them £248.97, from the sponsorship they gave us, after the admin fees are taken in to consideration
