Relegated obviously and I think they will bounce back with better preparation and will be a stronger force in the league.

However, 7 have already been released early from their contracts and some back room staff have been told that they will not be retained. Crass timing or early preparation for next season?

As those 7 were out of contract at the end of the season, you could say it's doing them a favour in giving them a head start to find a new club.

Good luck to all those affected i.e. 'released' by Briss whether on the playing ancilliary or support staff at all levels hope they all find alternative employment soon. I also wish Bristol a speedy return to the Prem. After all can't let BAth and Exe have all the running in the West country eh?

You have to believe that Bristol will be far better prepared the next time they're promoted, and the likelihood is that they'll be able to prepare for that eventuality around February next year.

Id say it's fair to say they are preparing for it now, with the signings they've made!

No playoffs in the Championship from next season, remember.

They'll be back up for the final year of Mallinder and Wests contract. Odds of them finishing above us that season?
