Great appointment, Welcome Matt!

If were also looking for a Forwards Coach alongside Matt, Id love to see Tom Smith back at the Gardens. Respected across the globe in the game, and another passionate Saints legend in the coaching set up...

Yes welcome Matt, anyone know who the other applicants were, if any, for the job or was he head hunted?

I can't believe that Ferguson would join just as Scrum coach, it would be a step backwards for him. He could free-lance that job in the way that Sean Edwards does as a 1 day a week defence consultant for Cardiff.

Yes, you are quite right, Eif. Thats probably what Ferguson (his first name is Matt, btw) is considering before he signs for Saints.

Oh, hang on a minute.....
