Anyone else watch the Super rugby final? Crusaders did a job on the Argies and Owen looked to be getting right under his oppo. Will we have enough grunt in the second row to help him do the same at FG?

Franks looks in real good shape hope he comes back from japan fit and raring to go and joins a team who have made a decent start with his kiwi mate proctor setting the premiership alight.....would still like a big name back row signing before October.

Totally agree that he was in fine form in the scrum but he was also clattering the argies back with the way he was hitting rucks.
Any chance he could bring Joe Moody with him

We should probably stop hoping for/expecting more recruitment, other than short term for injuries. The present squad is likely to be the one for next season. Post-RWC there could be offers for the following (2020/1) season.

Itís not unknown in World Cup year for someone unknown to be picked up by a premiership club - particularly from among the Islanders. In Boyd we trust - and donít forget that Dylan brought Tei back with him from the World Cup in 2011.

And what a player Tei has become. From the young dreadlocked youngster who looked a bit like a rabbit in headlights to the first name on a teamsheet.

Rabbit in headlights? He scored with his first touch of the ball in his first senior outing!
