Strikes me as a very weak Board - Hetherington,McGeechan,Oates and Smith.

Hetherington,no professional qualifications as far as I'm aware but done a reasonable job as a figure head for Caddick at the Rhinos.

MCGeechan,Union knowledge, again no qualifications,I believe may have worked for a few years for one of the Scottish companies when he managed/coached Scotland?

Basically, have one or the other as a figure head and/or for their rugby background.

Oates,an employee of Hetherington, not sure of any qualifications, perhaps marketing? Unsuitable for Board level appointment?

Smith,an academic, with an interest in rugby.

Seems exceptionally weak group to me.Never known a Board without either a Chartered Accountant or highly qualified solicitor/barrister and more usually both. Also usually a very successful businessman/entrapeneur.Just strikes me as a very weak group of individuals from a business point of view.
