No replies?

When Toops cane to the blues all those years ago I remeber thinking he was just coming to earn a crust and see out his days, in fact I had a debate with Sam Roberts to this effect which almost ended with me meeting with Paul.

But he turned my opinion around big time!

What a player & man! I know heíll still be around the place - as he should be but his prescience on the pitch will be missed.

My son had a thrill on one of his rarer outings to goldington road when we were looking through the shop - toops came in and the first thing he did was engage with my 9 year old (at the time). It meant my son looked out for him on the pitch and watched more of the game then he usual does,

Little things mean a lot!

It was a great game and a well deserved testimonial for Toops. As youíve said he will be sadly missed on the pitch, but will still be around in some capacity, as he should. Hopefully the Blues will recruit someone similar thatíll be around for a while and excite the Blues faithful with ball in hand.
