Adams plans to finish Moseley chapter

Jack Adams has vowed to finish his Moseley career on a high despite having agreed to play for Bristol next season. The dual-registered centre has opted to leave Gloucester at the end of this campaign to play for the Premiership strugglers for the next three years. The move means he will no longer be available to Moseley as part of the player-sharing arrangement they have with the Kingsholm

giants and will mark the end of an outstanding contribution to helping Mose consolidate their position in National One.

With league restructuring meaning five clubs will drop out of level two, that status has come under threat and Adams and colleagues travel to Doncaster tomorrow looking for the win that will sustain their battle against relegation.

The 22-year-old has promised he’ll give his all to make sure he leaves Billesley Common just as he found it, albeit with a silver tint.

“I feel no different whatsoever to how I have felt for the last two seasons,” he said. “If anything I want to show people that I am not thinking and preserving myself for Bristol.

“I have been playing for Moseley for two years and if I was staying with Gloucester and they wanted me to dual-register and play here again next season I would do that happily because it’s a good club with good coaches and good players.

“I am not thinking about playing for Bristol at all next season or saving myself for them. I want to help Moseley stay up and win the cup.”
