FIRST and foremost I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. I hope 2012 will be prosperous for all of us. I spoke in my last column of how the club has come a long way throughout 2011 and with your help and support lets push forward throughout 2012
The new year always draws reflection and resolutions. We all make resolutions and they are normally to make us better in one way or another. For me personally this year it is to get fit from my injury and to push myself to be the best me I possibly can be.
I’m sure all of my team-mates will have similar resolutions and will want to push themselves throughout 2012. I’m also sure the coaches will be behind us encouraging us and in some cases, where it is necessary, kicking us all the way.
With the beginning of 2012 we also welcome the business half of the season. We have seen in the first half that any one team in this league can beat any other team on their day.
Many of you probably think the chase is over now to go on and win this league but for me, as difficult as it may be, any team in the top half can go on to win it if they put together a run of wins
