Coventry Rugby side named to face Blaydon.

The Coventry Rugby team to face Blaydon away this Saturday, kick off 2.15pm, has just been announced. It shows 5 changes in the starting line up that lost so disappointedly against Sedgley Park, plus 3 further changes amongst the replacements.

Injuries have ruled out Nat McDonald, Jethro Rawling and Benji Dechartres, but there is a welcome return of captain Jamie Miller in place of Rawling. Mark O’Connor comes in at fullback in place of Ben Russell, who reverts to the bench, whilst Elliott Read comes in at no 10 in place of Will Maisey.

At wing Spencer Sutherland retains his place after an excellent debut last week, and there is another welcome return to the starting line up for the first time this season of Tommy Harris. Heath Stevens comes in from the wing to fill McDonald’s centre position. On the replacements there is another welcome return of lock Andy Weaver in place of Benji Dechartres, and well as a recall for Andy Murray.

No complaints there. The Coaches i think have chosen the best side they can with the players available. Cant beleive that benji and Mcdonald are also injured, we are definately having a run of bad luck with injuries at the moment!

decent team. improved try-scoring potential in the backs and a stronger back-row.

This looks a solid team with fewer untried/untested players.

Think they have gone for the most experience they have available to them in the squad, this has to be the best way.
