Although the Chiefs won't be taking anything for granted they should be confident of bagging the points at Sandy Park.  They are undefeated in the last 10 Prem games winning eight and drawing the other two against Sarries (a) and Wasps (h).  Added to this they have gathered eight try ponus points from them with their total bonus points tally of 13 from 17 games!  With a free weekend next week Rob Baxter will be looking for the players to approach the game with loads of energy.  Having said this he has got the team playing with high tempo and really imposing their game on the opposition.  Even in losing the Anglo Welsh final this could be seen with 39 phases being played leading to the second try.  OK it may have taken a lot to break down the Tigers defence but how many other sides have the ability or patience to keep the ball alive for that number of phases.

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter

Rob Baxter and the coaches have also been able to use the AW Cup to get players like Julian Salvi and Dave Ewers invaluable game time as they return from injury although neither features in the squad for this match.  Jack Nowell back in action following his spell on England duty.
