It feels like it's been a long summer with no rugby and the usual mix of sunshine and showers to deal with but the Chiefs are now ready to go after season 2017/18 with a bang.

Exeter Chiefs celebrate winning the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham Stadium, London.

It feels like it's been a long summer with no rugby and the usual mix of sunshine and showers to deal with but the Chiefs are now ready to go after season 2017/18 with a bang.  Rob Baxter has spoken at length about last season's poor start and the mindset that brought it about so there won't be anything lacking in that department this season.  As well as that the Chiefs players have been putting the usual hard graft into pre-season but with what sounds like an extra bite to training.  Unfortunately a few injuries have been picked up but this just gives some guys such as Max Bodily a chance to shine in the first team squad.  New signing Nic White seems to have settled in well and looked very sharp in the preseason games and will keep the opposition on their toes.

It's always tough against the Cherry and Whites especially at Castle Grim but Chiefs do know how to win there so I'm hoping for a win to stretch Chiefs unbeaten run to set a new Premiership record.
