Interesting encounter in prospect at Sixways on Sunday .... or not. By the time Wuss and Glaws run out both clubs may be breathing a lot easier at either end of the table ... or not.

If Quins and Wasps both lose against Exeter and Sarries on Saturday then we are guaranteed a play-off place and almost certainly third place.

If Newcastle lose at home to Northampton on Friday night Worcester will just about be home and dry.

Of course, there are local bragging rights whatever the importance of the game as far as league positions is concerened and we make four changes.

Up front Val Rapava Ruskin starts against his former club alongside Gareth Denman.

Jake Polledri comes in for Jaco Kriel at openside and in the backs Charlie Sharples is back and replacing Tom Seabrook on the right wing.

Good to see  Jason Woodward on the bench - he limped off against Wasps last month.

Gloucester: 15. Matt Banahan; 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. Billy Twelvetrees, 12. Mark Atkinson, 11. Henry Purdy; 10. Danny Cipriani, 9. Willi Heinz (captain); 1. Val Rapava Ruskin, 2. Franco Marais, 3. Gareth Denman; 4. Ed Slater, 5. Franco Mostert; 6. Ruan Ackermann, 7. Jake Polledri, 8. Ben Morgan.

Reps: Mike Sherry, 17. Josh Hohneck, 18. Fraser Balmain, 19. Tom Savage, 20. Lewis Ludlow, 21. Callum Braley, 22. Lloyd Evans, Jason Woodward.
