Thorley Starts
By Cherry Picker
October 2 2026

The Cherry and Whites faithful cannot wait for the first home game of the season. Quins are the visitors for a Saturday tea-time kick off and Kingsholm will be full of anticipation after last week's superb win at Chiefs.

As you would expect there's only a few changes from that side - mainly in thebacks where George Barton and Ollie Thorley both start instead of Ben Redshaw and Phil Cokanasiga. Will Joseph moves the wing to the centre.

Joseph scored one of the tries of the season last week and, with an unchanged pack, he should get enough ball to see if he can add another try or two.

Quins arrive off the back of an opening 17-33 defeat at the hand of Bath Rugby.

Going for a five tries to three win for Gloucs.
