Quins Show True Colours

At last we have something to shout about. Our team of"All-Stars" has not had the best of seasons, so far, but they clicked at just the right time to hopefully salvage the season courtesy of the European Championship.The 27-17 win at previous winners La Rochelle was achieved in some style and sets up a home tie in the last 16 against Sale. .

It wasn't easy in front of a vociferous and overly confident home support - La Rohelle taking the lead through Davit Niniashvili only for Quins to fight back with a penalty from Marcus Smith

That was followed by a sharp finish in the corner from Caden Murley,  which was superbly converted by Smith to give Quins a three point lead at the break.

Things got better after the restart . Chandler Cunningham-South setting up Tyrone Green to go over only for Jack Nowell and scrum-half Thomas Berjon to score in quick succession to level the score..

Undaunted,  Tom Lawday crashed over in the corner with Smith once again on target. Smith's late penalty costing La Rochelle the losing bonus point they needed to see them qualify. Instead it's Tigers who get the place.
