
SKIPPER AGREES NEW DEAL WITH JERSEY RFC

Jersey RFC have announced that Club Captain Alex Rae has signed a new contract with the club extending until summer 2017.
28-year-old Rae is midway through his second season with Jersey. The second row forward, who also plays flanker, formerly played for Bedford, Wasps, Northampton and Saracens; last season he missed just one of the Islanders' 23 Greene King IPA Championship fixtures, as well as playing in the British & Irish Cup on four occasions and in the Siam Cup. This season he has featured in all 17 of Jersey's league and cup encounters so far.

A top man who leads from the front. Better Lock than back row IMO but vastly improved at 6.Great news for Jersey RFC.
