OTTO AND GRAHAM ARRIVE TO BOLSTER JERSEY RANKS

Two new players have arrived in Jersey this week to bolster Harvey Biljon's injury-hit squad. The Islanders travel to Yorkshire today for tomorrow's Greene King IPA Championship match with Rotherham, boosted by the signings of Fautua Otto and Gary Graham.
Otto, a 29-year-old who can play both centre and wing, will be a familiar face to many Championship observers having spent three seasons with Bristol until summer 2014. He has won 12 caps for Samoa during the past five years, and has also represented his country in the HSBC Sevens World Series. He has signed a 16-month contract with Jersey.

"Tua is a proven performer at this level who also has international experience," said Head Coach Biljon. "I expect him to bring a real cutting edge to our game, and to cause some trouble for opposition defences."
Graham, 22, plays in the second or back row of the scrum and formerly represented Scotland at under 20 level (his father George won 25 senior caps between 1997 and 2002). He comes to the Island from Gala in the Scottish borders, and has agreed a three-month deal stretching to the end of the current campaign.
"Gary is a player who was on our radar as a potential signing for this summer, but we were able to agree that he would join us now for the rest of this season, said Biljon. "He's a player with great potential and I'm hoping he will make an immediate impact as he steps up to a fully professional."

In Otto you have a player who, on his day, can break the gain line at will.
He does have a tendency to shoot out of the defensive line looking for the big hit on occassion and leave a huge defensive hole.
Nice guy though, good signing for you.
Wish him all the best, except against us of course.

Should be over that now so you've got a player with a lot of potential if played correctly. I'd be more than happy to see him back in a Bris shirt tomorrow so treat him well. Good signing.
