Once again, we’d like to apologise to fans for having to reschedule the Newcastle Falcons vs Worcester Warriors game to Saturday November 27.
We understand this has been very disappointing for some of our fans who were unable to make the rescheduled fixture. However, this decision was taken to ensure the safety of spectators, players and staff.
Our standard terms and conditions state that in the event of a date or time change tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. However, on this occasion, given the circumstances, we have made the decision to allow any fans who were unable to attend Friday’s rescheduled match to reallocate their tickets to another match of their choice, subject to availability. This excludes the Boxing Day game against Sale Sharks.
If you wish to reallocate your tickets, please contact the ticket office during opening hours and the team will be happy to assist you. Tickets must be reallocated to a fixture this season (prior to June 30, 2022).
Our opening hours are as follows:
Monday 12pm – 5pm
Tuesday - Closed
Wednesday 12pm – 5pm
Thursday 12pm – 8pm
Friday 12pm – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 4pm
Sunday - Closed

Pleased common sense has prevailed. We couldn't attend rearranged match, so happy we haven't lost out. Does seem odd though that Sale match is specifically excluded for ticket transfer, when it is exactly same price as Chiefs home game later in the season.
Sensible decision in the end but this would have been much better being announced on Friday to avoid the initial upset and anger / stress for supporters and also avoid the negativity towards the club.
For me it would have also helped the advanced sales for future games but now it's possibly hampered them and people may wait until closer to matchday.
However now the club have read the room they will be better prepared.
They will still stick to their terms for individuals but when there’s a groundswell like this they will go in pre armed to be able to change to a different game.
I've just given the ticket office a call but I'm not eligible for my 2 tickets as I'm a season ticket holder. I was thinking that I could have brought a couple of family members to a future game.

To be fair to the club, I can see their reasoning for season tickets. You buy your season tickets well in advance before anybody knows when games will be on, then it is pot luck if you are otherwise engaged, on holiday, at a wedding, or whatever, and miss a game. It is one of the reasons why season tickets end up being cheaper per game, otherwise everybody would just buy tickets as needed, so I wouldn't expect a rebate if I couldn't make a game unless they actually chopped it out of the calendar completely as they did with our USA 'home' game.
Those with shifts swap things around to be able to make games once dates are confirmed and there's a ticket exchange option but that needs notice so allowing the exchange for this game would make sense.
Not sure what the club thought it would achieve by making ticket exchange for season ticket holders a lot more difficult and restrictive. It's not as if they are running close to capacity and would have to turn away other customers. With a pandemic still going on they ought to be more flexible, not less. Net result is likely to be selling fewer season tickets in future.
