Albion v Sale FC - View from the stand

Was just the weather for Ducks and sometimes felt like snorkels were needed, and the howling hurricane wind didn’t help much either. The Ref kept control of the game, a few intreseting decisions, but letting the Game flow, and only reaching for his pocket a couple of times.
Scrums were awesome, amazing in such conditions. Kicking was a little off, but not all the kickers fault, the wind seemed to snatch it from the air and head it back to the kicker.
The last few minutes were heart in mouth, Albion could have scored to deny Sale FC a losing Bonus, or Sale FC could have scored to deny Albion the much needed Win. Albion left their hearts, bodies and souls on the pitch, giving every last morsel of strength to try to deny a losing bonus to Sale FC, and to stop them getting a Win. The players looked shattered after the match. The after match entertainment was good, quite a few staying after the match to discuss the finer points of the end to end play.
Score Albion 14 Sale FC 7
For the Albion Ladies, seeing Jessie walking around the ground was amazing, a true inspiration to all. The ladies wearing shirts ‘for Jessie’ and a bucket collection to help her out whilst she is injured. Spotlight article is here (about 30 seconds into the program) :BBC news also the go fund me page if anyone has a couple of quid to spare : Go fund me page
Massive effort by both Ladies sides during and after the game, well done

I think the lads gave their all, well done the squad.
By the way, it's not the GRAND STAND, lol. but where the action happens on match days for sure, although we are getting more vocal with each game on the other side of the pitch , long may it continue.
