Pre-season Friendly: Albion v Exeter University

Tomorrow sees ALbion take on Exeter University for their final friendly before the season kicks off with the opening league fixture at Rosslyn Park.

The students will be starting their 5th campaign in National 2 West having won the Tribute South West Premier Title in 2022. Last season they narrowly avoided automatic relegation by winning 2 of their last league games and the subsequent relegation/promotion playoff against Stourbridge.

Albion will likely be fielding a 'peripheral' team giving game time to those who did not feature against the Pirates last weekend. Consequently the game should be evenly matched. That said, in the previous encounter between the sides Exeter University, the students clobbered Albion 21-41.

Kick off - 19:30

An evening of sunny intervals will give way to clear night skies. Temps at around 21°C will be pleasant with a gentle to moderate easterly breeze having little impact.
