I like to keep this element of the messageboard as optimistic as possible, but it seems that despite the team doing a great job, we fans need to up our game - more of us need to turn up. Also the turnstile operators and counters at Headers need to get their act together and count everyone. For the second time running, the positivity that we have all worked hard to build up on this forum has not been rewarded and the most pessimistic attendance guess for the Bedford match has won. With all due respect to Bobba, opus and yeldor, who get 3, 2 & 1 points respectively, the mystery that is the club official attendance has been a bit awry.
But congratulations to these three, they have read the tealeaves and that is what this excellent competion is all about.
A real match is coming up on Sunday. Jersey, who despite financial difficulties always seem to field a star-studded team, are going to be worthy top 4 opponents and this will be a great measure of whether we are playing at Top 4 standard. The weather is going to be good, possibly Spring-like, so what better place to be than Headers at 3.00 p.m. Sunday?
As ever I get the first bite at the cherry. Assuming the turnstiles are working and that, in a 6Nations rest weekend, a great Championship match is an attractive proposition, my guess is 1477.
Please post your more considered guesses below on this thread.

I think the attendance was announced at about 1726? Can anyone with better hearing and memory than me help? Nothing on offie yet.
That was the worst performance by far by our "new" team, nothing worked; knock-ons and mistakes galore. Our backs move and look threatening, but the moves practiced in training did not work at all today. The forwards were okay-ish but lineout fell apart in the second half. When chasing the game we were lucky to only concede one interception try.
Bad day at the office, lets hope for better next time.
