Powergen Cup semi-final predictions

Here are the results of the predictions league after the Powergen Cup semi-final defeat at the hands of Gloucester, played at Franklins Gardens.

What is it with the Tigers and controversy in the last minutes of games? This time it was the Tigers supporters who were left feeling aggrieved. Goodness knows which way the RFU will go on this one, but this is how the predictions work out with the score as it finished on Saturday (16-11).

Everyone predicted that Tigers would win this one (apart from TJS10) so there were only a few points scored this week, all for getting close to the Glaws score. I expect Lizzie to be leading the protests to the RFU, as a converted try for the Tigers at the end would have given her an extra 4 points! However, both she and Bullshine got bonus points and moved to within 5 of Nocker, who didn't score this week.

Next up is Newcastle away, which could be a difficult one to predict. Newcastle are currently propping up the table (although they are arguing that they cannot play in that position and should have an uncontested game :-) ) so will be sure to be up for it, and Tigers will have to make sure they keep the penalties to a minimum with Johnny Wilkinson kicking for Newcastle.
