With the season just 2 weeks away, Dai Young's Blues squad gets it's first run out against Worcester at 3 o'clock tomorrow.
The match tomorrow will be the first chance fans get to see new signings Mosese Luviatasau (AKA Scrabble), Scott Morgan, Filise, Darren Allinson (a new signing from Llanelli Scarlets Acadamy - reportedon this site back in June) aswell as a second chance to see reternee Gary Powell.
As well as the new signings, fans will catch a glimse of up and coming Blues stars such as Tom Reiley and Bradley Davies; making their first start for the region in tomorrows early afternoon encounter.
Xavier Rush makes his first appearance as official club captain, taking the burden off Rhys Williams who gets a chance to prove himself at full back before the arrival of Ben Blair next month.
The big news is of the names missing rather than included, Tom Shanklin has pulled out of the match, sparking fears umungst fans of a flare up of his knee injury. The Blues have announced nothing on why he isn't involved, but earlier in the week Young had said the Lions tourist would play some part in the match.
